Binatone's Eurotel 3200 DECT Telephone Wins Prestigious Awards
The Eurotel 3200 DECT cordless has just been given a five star rating and
awarded the 'Best Buy' in the current issue of the men's top gadget magazine 'Stuff'.  Winning the top slot over many of the leading brands including the Ascom 122, Ericsson 260, BT Diverse/Siemens and the Panasonic KX-TCD965.

This award comes close on the heels of another given recently in a survey published by 'What Cellphone' magazine scoring over 90% for value and features.Binatone scored higher than all Philips models, BT/Siemens and Samsung in the "What Cellphone" survey.

Latest GfK Market Share Figures Puts Binatone DECT Ahead of Philips
GfK, the market research company just announced their
latest figures upto 30 September 2000 which show Binatone total market share in DECT for the period increased to over 20% - (17% under the Binatone brand) and the balance under other customers own brands, Binatone also supplys. Binatone have overtaken Philips whose market share was 16.4% for this period.

GfK's 1999 year end research figures has found that Binatone, dominated consumer telecom product sales in the UK for the last ten years, with an average of 24.6% brand share by volume, that's 6.15% more than its nearest rival British Telecom who finished with 18.74%

Commenting on the results of the research, Dino Lalvani, Sales and Marketing Director of Binatone said "Our DECT telephones have been recognised as best sellers with our recently launched Eurotel range. We could have doubled our market share if only we could get more semiconductors we needed."
