The cordless modem is integrated into a snap-on-case which can be tacked on the Palm Organizer. Data transfer to the back-office-systems is effected via DECT-base station 16 cordless modems can be operated per base station with a range of about 300 meter 16, 6 of them at the same time. The speed in secure data transfer is 19,2 kBAUD.
